Neighbr is a hyper-local artisan marketplace that connects community craftspeople with buyers right in their neighborhood. Instead of generic map pins, it organizes discovery through structured geographic data (Division → District → City), so people find the artisan who is genuinely nearby.

Who it's for

• Artisans: manage a portfolio, set an availability calendar, track earnings through charts and handle service orders
• Customers: search for local services, book an artisan, manage their bookings and leave reviews
• Admins: oversee the whole platform, manage city and location data, and monitor inquiries and transactions

How it works

Customers narrow down artisans by skill, rating and neighborhood level, then book through a modal-based flow that checks real-time availability. After the job, reviews feed a badge-based rating system that builds community trust. Users get booking updates and messages through a notification bell, and artisans can upgrade to premium listings through Stripe subscriptions.

Technical notes

Built on the Next.js 16 App Router with Server Components and Server Actions, shadcn/ui on Tailwind CSS 4, and React Hook Form with Zod validation. Earnings analytics use Recharts, and maps use React Leaflet with OpenStreetMap, which gives a visual map without Google Maps API costs.
